I take a lot of pride & pleasure in playing at weddings. I feel that it is such an honour that people choose me to play their favourite songs on their special day.
I love working with the couple to create their perfect set list & seeing everything come together beautifully on the day.

Whether it’s a lively Saturday night or a Sunday evening with family’s & food, I have set list to fit every occasion.
I play weekly at Bars & Pubs which has took me from Liverpool - Nottingham & everywhere in-between.
I love engaging with people from the moment I walk in the door to make sure that I can gage the venue & adapt my sets to the current customers.

Oliver Vawdrey (Solo)
Using acoustic & electric guitar, stomp box & loops allow me to go head-to-head with the sound & energy of a full band to get people up dancing & singing, whilst still having the option to bring down the energy for a relaxed more intermit performance.
My love for music from the 1950’s through to modern day is what makes me suitable for a wide range of venues & ages where I prides himself on creating a unique set list & performance for each one of his gigs.
Taking Cover Duo
Taking Cover is fronted by guitarist and singer, Oliver Vawdrey who draws on his blues and songwriting background to deliver crowd interaction, energetic guitar playing, powerful singing and exciting guitar solos.
He is joined by percussionist and jazz trumpet player Sam Ehret-Pickett. Sam is very active in the Leeds jazz and function scene playing with some of Leeds's top jazz bands including Ancient Infinity Orchestra, Fergus Quill's Big Band and his own project Amon Ra Collective.
