My main goal, since I started taking music seriously when I was 14, has been to build a career in music. Since then I have started writing music, performed original sets at renowned venues & started my career in music. My dream is to have my weeks filled with studio sessions & live original headline shows, where I can truly express my artistic image & ideas. As I continue to work towards my dream, I play cover sets at weddings, bars & pubs, as well as teach guitar, so that I can continue to work in music in ways that are rewarding to me but also help me develop skills that align with my dream.

Playing cover sets that range across 60’s rock - modern day pop was one way I funded my Master’s studies & since then has been my favourite way to consistently perform live. I’ve had the privilege of playing music for beautiful couples on their special day, entertaining guests at lively venues, as well as playing relaxing background sets where people are in conversation. I enjoy tailoring my sets, to each venue I play, to create the perfect atmosphere - whether that is people singing & dancing or eating & conversing.

Teaching guitar has been a great way to pass on knowledge that I have picked up over my time studying, though there is one key school of thought I took away from my Masters. As Music is a creative subject there is always a conversation between musical preferences & related musical experience. Teaching music presents me with the opportunity to closely experience music from someone else’s perspective. Learning songs that my students want to learn not only allows me to expand my own musical horizons, but also allows the student to own their music journey.
